Singing roads and soft cars
After posting somber news I want to brighten up and therefore I will introduce to you…. Japanese singing roads. You read right. I experienced ridges made to wake up snoozing drivers when they start drifting to the side of the road, but these singing roads are not a warning, not a lasting, tough surface material but entertainment. The Japanese are good at making useless inventions. There are many sites dedicated to the cause and actually, in Japan, it has grown into an art form called chin dougu. (Chindougu in Wikipedia) Nonetheless, I wanted to introduce also potentially useful Japanese inventions, and relating to the road theme, here are a few concept cars from Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. At least watch the last two:
